Hi I’m Jackson! I’m a pianist, composer, and songwriter. I have played for VEMS Choirs at Simon Fraser, Crosstown, and Osler Elementary. My favorite part of playing for choir is the freedom it gives both the kids and me as a pianist to explore the songs. On any given day the songs will be sung differently, and that unpredictability is sometimes the most interesting part. I think when kids really love a song they like to sing louder, so live performances can be quite powerful!
I also teach piano; both privately through in-house teaching and through a studio.
