Andrea Norman

Andrea Norman is a graduate of the Master of Music program with a focus on trombone performance at the University of British Columbia. Originally from Medicine Hat, Alberta, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Lethbridge before eventually moving to Vancouver.

While Andrea is new to VEMS, she has been teaching at Trafalgar Elementary School under a similar curriculum for over four years, and also has been teaching at St. James Academy of Music for two years, as of 2026.

Andrea also loves performing, and has been a member of the National Academy Orchestra in 2019 and 2020, the Harrogate International Music festival, and MusicFest Canada with the Denis Wick Canadian Wind Orchestra.
