I’m Joanna – but the kids call me Jo. I’ve been working with VEMs conducting choir and wind band since January 2025, and I LOVE it!
I am a jazz vocalist, songwriter, and sing regularly with the Vancouver Chamber Choir as well. I am also currently getting my credentials as a music therapist from Capilano University. Working with the kids through VEMs is an uplifting and inspiring experience, and I count myself lucky to call this work, for most of the time it feels like we are at play, but. Through play, we achieve beauty.
