Cat Hartt-Towle (She/They) is an interdisciplinary artist living on stolen Xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musquam) territory. Originally from Kamloops, BC, Cat graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and Honours Theatre. Cat performs with Opera Pro Cantanti and the Vancouver Bach Choir. In addition, Cat works in theatre doing stage management and design.
With VEMS, Cat has taught at a variety of schools in Vancouver including Crosstown, Walter Moberly, Renfrew, Pierre Elliot Trudeau, and False Creek. Cat enjoys working with each school to build a choir specific to the group they’re teaching, ensuring each student has a voice and opinion on what makes choir fun for them.
Cat is always open to providing at-home lessons and is comfortable teaching classical music and musical theatre.
