VEMS at the Vancouver Maritime Museum

On December 14, kids from Beasonsfield Elementary, False Creek Elementary, Hudson Elementary, Laura Secord Elementary, Maple Grove Elementary, Mount Pleasant Elementary, Pierre Elliot Trudeau Elementary, and Trafalgar Elementary went to the Maritime Museum in Kitsilano to help cheer on the lighting of the harbour boats.

It was cold and wet and Miss Catherine our Choral Program Director kept the team singing and warm with a few jumping jacks.

We are very grateful for all the parents who brought kids to the event.  Our friends at the Maritime Museum were thrilled to have the kids and reported a very successful event.

VEMS is always looking for events and venues for kids to perform.  It’s a huge part of music to bring people together and share the experience.

A few photos are below, courtesy of the Maritime Museum.
